Is It Time For A Keyword Check-Up?

If you’ve been in Niche Marketing any time at all, you know how important keywords are. Keywords are what Internet searchers type into search engines. It’s these words that our site’s need to be optimized for if we hope to earn extra money online. If we didn’t have keywords, there would be no income for us marketers!

But many niche marketers fail to do regular check ups on their keyword list. Just because you had some keywords at one time that brought in traffic, doesn’t mean they will always be popular. That’s one reason you should take the time to stop and check on your keywords.

Our time as marketers is limited. It would be a shame to find out that you’ve been optimizing your website for keywords that are no longer popular and fail to make money. One niche that continues to change regularly is Hollywood. Celebs popularity rises and falls with the tides. It’s important to know which ones are popular and which ones have had their popularity wane.

Smart marketers check their keywords often because they will find new keywords that will help them make money with the Internet. Heck, just a few years ago the term Niche Marketing didn’t even exist. This is a prime example of being on the lookout for new keywords. By checking your keywords every month or so and getting rod of the ones not making you money and adding new ones that are hot, you’ll go a long ways in making money in this business.

Also, some niches just go away while other niches change. It just makes good business sense to cull these old, non producing keywords out of your list. You’ll make more money by continuing to add new, more valuable keywords to your list rather than keep those old dead ones around.
